How to book
- Send your request on the Book page or write to us on WhatsApp. We charge nothing when you send it.
- Within 24 hours we confirm availability and email you the amount and the payment details.
- You pay and reply to that email with your receipt. Once we register it, your booking is confirmed and we let you know by email.
You can check the status of your booking under Tracking with your CT- code.
How much you pay to book
- One-day tours (Sacred Valley, Humantay Lake, Rainbow Mountain…): if you book 5 days or more in advance you pay 50% and the balance up to 24 hours before the tour. With less than 5 days, you pay 100%.
- Multi-day tours (Inca Trail, Salkantay, Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley…): you pay 50% and the balance up to 7 days before departure. With less than 7 days, you pay 100%.
- The tour must be paid in full before it starts. If the balance is not paid on time, we may release your spot.
Minimum notice
- One-day tours: at least 24 hours before.
- Inca Trail: at least 30 days before; permits are limited and from May to August they usually sell out months ahead.
- Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley: at least 10 days before, because of tickets and trains.
Payment methods
Bank transfer, PayPal, Western Union, card payment link and Yape (for residents of Peru). We send you the payment details by email from reservations@condortrek.com. Platform or bank fees are paid by the traveler. We will never ask you for card details over WhatsApp.
Date changes
You can request a date change at no cost up to 15 days before departure, subject to availability. Machu Picchu tickets, trains and Inca Trail permits are named and dated: changing them depends on their own rules and may have a cost; in the case of the Inca Trail, permits cannot be changed to another date or holder.
Cancellations
- One-day tours: cancellation without penalty up to 48 hours before (we only deduct bank fees). With less than 48 hours, the payment is non-refundable.
- Multi-day tours: with more than 30 days’ notice, we refund what you paid minus services already purchased in the traveler’s name (tickets, trains, permits) and bank fees. Between 30 and 15 days before, 50% of the total is retained. With less than 15 days, the payment is non-refundable.
- Inca Trail permits: non-refundable in any case, by order of the Ministry of Culture and SERNANP.
- No-show on the day of the tour or voluntary withdrawal during the trip does not entitle you to a refund.
Refunds are made through the same payment method within the following 15 business days.
If we cancel
If we cancel a tour for our own reasons, we refund 100% of what you paid or offer you another date, at your choice. If it is cancelled because of weather, closures or orders from the authorities, we offer you another date or an alternative route, or a refund of what has not been paid to third parties.
