Terms and
conditions

The clear rules of your trip with Condor Trek.

1. Who we are

Machupicchu Condor Trek S.A.C. (trade name Condor Trek), RUC 20610218459, with address at Calle Romeritos y Libertad B-18, San Jerónimo, Cusco, Peru. Travel and tourism agency registered as a Tour Operator in the National Directory of Qualified Tourism Service Providers (Certificate No. 236-2023-GR/GERCETUR-SGFC, D. S. No. 005-2020-MINCETUR). Contact: info@condortrek.com · WhatsApp +51 910 933 322.

By requesting a booking, paying for a service or using this website you accept these terms, together with our Booking, payment and cancellation policy and our Privacy policy.

2. Services

We organize tours and hikes in Cusco and the surrounding area (Inca Trail, Salkantay, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Humantay Lake, Rainbow Mountain and others), as small-group or private service, as well as tailor-made tours. What each tour includes and does not include is detailed on its page and in the confirmation we email you; that confirmation is the one that applies to your booking.

3. Prices

  • Prices are published in US dollars (USD), per person, and may change without notice until your booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, we honor the agreed price.
  • The price of private service differs from small-group and depends on the number of travelers.
  • Tickets, tourist passes, meals or services not listed as included are paid separately.
  • Bank or payment-platform fees are paid by the traveler.

4. Bookings and payments

Sending the booking form does not generate any charge. Your spot is reserved when we confirm availability and receive the payment to book (50% or 100% depending on the tour and date). Full details are in the Booking, payment and cancellation policy.

5. Traveler data and documents

You must give us names, nationality and document number (passport or ID) exactly as they appear on the document you will travel with. Machu Picchu tickets and Inca Trail permits are named: an error in the data can prevent entry, and correcting or reissuing them, if possible, has a cost. You must carry the same original document during the tour.

6. Health, altitude and fitness

  • Tours take place at altitude (between 2,000 and more than 5,000 m above sea level). We recommend acclimatizing for at least two days in Cusco before a hike and consulting your doctor if you have a health condition or are pregnant.
  • You must tell us about any medical condition, allergy or dietary restriction when booking.
  • The guide may ask a traveler not to continue if their health or safety, or the group’s, is at risk.
  • We recommend taking out travel insurance with medical and evacuation coverage.

7. Itinerary changes

Because of weather, landslides, strikes, route closures or orders from the authorities (Ministry of Culture, SERNANP, train companies), we may change schedules, the order of visits or services, always seeking an equivalent alternative. If a service cannot be provided for reasons beyond our control, we will offer you an alternative or a refund of what has not been paid to third parties.

8. Liability

We act as a tour operator and work with formal suppliers (transport, trains, hotels, restaurants). We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings, delays or cancellations of flights and trains outside our control, or damage resulting from not following the guide’s instructions. Our guides carry a first-aid kit and, on hikes, oxygen.

9. Conduct and responsible tourism

We expect respect for communities, heritage and nature: do not leave trash, do not remove stones or plants and follow the rules of each archaeological site. Condor Trek rejects every form of sexual exploitation of girls, boys and adolescents in tourism (ESNNA) and will report any case to the authorities.

10. Photos and reviews

We may take group photos during tours. We only publish images in which you appear if you give us your permission; you can ask us to remove them at any time.

11. Complaints

If something did not go as you expected, write to us and we will fix it. You also have our virtual Complaints Book (Libro de Reclamaciones) available, in accordance with the Consumer Protection and Defense Code (Law No. 29571).

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent authorities of the city of Cusco, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer before INDECOPI.
